The journey to 35 Years of Magic starts here!
Star Struck is getting ready to celebrate 35 Years of Magic in 2027, and the search for our 2027 Vocal Team is about to begin.
Applications are open to NSW public school students interested in being considered for Featured Vocalist, Backing Vocalist and Core Choir opportunities in Star Struck 2027
Round 1 auditions are LIVE!
Rather than submitting a video audition, all students will begin with an individual live audition in front of the Star Struck Vocal Team.
Students will also be able to choose and book their own Round 1 audition appointment through SignUpGenius.
Applications and audition bookings open at 10.00 am on Saturday 26 September.
Audition appointments are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so students and families interested in auditioning are strongly encouraged to read the Vocal Audition Information Package before bookings open.
The package contains everything you need to know, including:
- the three-round audition process
- Round 1 live audition dates and times
- how to apply and book an audition appointment
- what to prepare for your live audition
- backing track requirements
- school notification and Principal endorsement
- audition and participation costs
- Round 2 and Round 3 information
- rehearsal and Show Week commitments.

Musical Director – Expressions of Interest
Expressions of interest are now open for the position of Musical Director – Star Struck 2027.
The Musical Director provides overall musical leadership for Star Struck, shaping and coordinating the musical direction of the production and leading the broader music team across vocal, choir, orchestra, rock band and music production.
Working collaboratively with the Creative Director and specialist music leaders, the Musical Director will oversee the development and delivery of the production’s musical content and ensure all musical elements come together cohesively to support the overall artistic vision.
We are seeking an experienced and collaborative music educator or music professional with strong musical leadership skills and experience in musical direction and live performance.
